Our story is a bit crazy. I started subconsciously listing the reasons I love my husband the very first day we met.
Why is that crazy?
Somehow I knew he was the one I’d spend the rest of my life with, again, on our first date! Of course, there was no way to know for sure, but somehow, deep down, I knew.
I popped the question on our second date which happened to be the very next evening after the first date. “Do you want kids?” His answer shocked me and that’s when I knew, I would marry him if he would have me.
His answer to my bold-second-date-question? “Yes, only if one parent stays home to raise them.”
His ANSWER is still my version of “You had me at hello!”
Since that day (to which our second date happened to be Valentine’s Day 2010), the reasons I love my husband continues to accumulate.
I love my husband because:
- He makes me a better person.
- My husband unselfishly always puts my daughter and me before himself.
- He is a better father than I could have ever dreamed up.

- He’s a devoted husband. The work of a relationship is endless, can be hard but it’s all worth it with you.
